Here's the thing. A lot of loan officers won't give you the real numbers up front, because they think it costs them the deal. I do it the other way around. On our first call I lay out your down payment, your closing costs, your real monthly payment, and your escrows, in plain English, so you know exactly what you're getting into before you commit to anything.
I don't sell rate. I'm an advisor and an educator. I've been doing this since 2007, right through the Great Recession, so there isn't much I haven't already seen.
