Was Your House More Stuffed Than The Turkey?

Now that Thanksgiving is over in the house…

(I couldn't eat another turkey sandwich if I tried!)

…I thought it would be nice to reflect on some of the traditions I saw on my Facebook feed.

Here are a few of the ways my family and friends "did" Thanksgiving…

• Started the day in a "Turkey Trot" for charity.
• Had a "friendsgiving" for college kids who didn't make it home for the day.
• Ate alternate fried turkeys and other unique dishes.
• Lined up table after table and created the biggest outdoor Thanksgiving tent setup I have ever seen like one of my past clients did.  What a setup!

The Dempsey's started a new tradition of an "adult beverage" at our dinner…Caramel Apple Spirits with frozen cranberries:

What was the common theme?

Being able to spend time with all the people around us we love.

But, sometimes we just don't have the space to be able to host the way we want to.

Our holidays end up being a source of stress instead of joy.

Our kitchens aren't set up to cook multiple dishes at once or counter space is limited.

Guest rooms are in short supply and we regretfully have to put people on uncomfortable air mattresses and couches.

Bathrooms can't keep up with the demand.

Even parking for guests can be a nightmare.

The last thing we want is for anyone to feel uncomfortable in our homes.
